1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how FlowSelfie handles data when you use our device and companion applications. FlowSelfie is a personal monitoring tool, not a medical device. We follow a data-minimisation approach: we do not collect or store personal measurement data on our servers without your explicit action.

2. Data Path: Device → Phone → Optional Cloud

When you use FlowSelfie, measurement data follows this path:

  • Device storage: The FlowSelfie hardware stores up to 50 measurements in its onboard memory. This data is not transmitted anywhere until you sync.
  • Phone (local sync via Bluetooth): When you open the companion app and initiate a sync, measurements transfer to your phone over Bluetooth Low Energy. The data is stored locally on your phone.
  • Optional cloud backup: Cloud sync is opt-in and can be disabled at any time in the app settings. If you enable cloud sync, data is transmitted to our servers under standard encryption.

3. Telegram Disclaimer

If you contact our support via the Telegram bot (@etta_sup_bot), the messages you send are processed within Telegram’s infrastructure under Telegram’s own terms of service and privacy policy. We use your messages only to respond to your support request. Do not send personal health or measurement data through Telegram.

4. Data Retention

  • Local device data: retained until you clear the device memory.
  • Local app data: retained until you uninstall the app or manually delete records.
  • Cloud data (if opted in): retained until you delete your account or request deletion.

5. Deletion

You can delete your local app data at any time from the app settings. To request deletion of cloud-synced data, contact us via Telegram (@etta_sup_bot).

6. Cookies and Analytics

Our website (flowselfie.com) may use anonymised analytics cookies to understand general usage patterns. No personally identifiable information is collected through these means. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or transfer your personal data to third parties. Because local measurement data never reaches our servers by default, there is nothing to share unless you explicitly enable cloud sync.

8. Children

The FlowSelfie service is not directed at persons under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Security

On-device data is protected by the device’s operating system. Cloud-synced data is transmitted and stored using industry-standard encryption. We recommend keeping your phone software up to date.
